William Clark “Survey of the Horizon”  depicts Clark as a surveyor, a skill he used throughout his life.  Most of the maps of the expedition were drawn or compiled by William Clark, the Co-Captain of the Lewis and Clark Expedition.  Captain William Clark has been acclaimed a “National Hero” and one of the World’s Greatest Explorers -February 23-March 1, 2004 special issue of U.S. News & World Report.
